If you would like to contact us, you can do so through our Facebook page or via one of the methods below. Please note that on the day of the 4th of July, our volunteers are busy with many things and might not be able to respond quickly.
The following is a list of questions we commonly hear:
How much does it cost?
Admission for the 4th Fest Fireworks Show is $5 per person. You can purchase entry buttons from local businesses in advance or pay admission the day of at the gates.
What time do the fireworks start?
Our fireworks will begin shortly after sundown on the 4th of July. Please join us earlier in the evening there will be music and vendors in the park to enjoy. Many families arrive early to set up their spot on the field for the show. Space fills up quickly and is first come, first reserved.
Can I be a Sponsor / Volunteer / Vendor / etc...?
Of course! Please use the Contact Us page to get in touch. We are always looking for more ways to make our event a success!
Are pets allowed?
We strongly suggest leaving your pets at home. Due to the loud nature of our show, many animals react negatively to our display. That mixed with a large crowd can get out of hand quickly. We ask you keep yourself, your animal, and others safe by keeping your pets at home.
Can we bring in a cooler?
Yes. We want everyone to be safe so we do allow families to bring in coolers with drinks and snacks to enjoy prior to our show. We would also encourage you to support our food and drink vendors if possible. Please note, alcohol is prohibited in the City Park and coolers will be checked before admission.
Where is parking?
The City Park is mostly closed to vehicle traffic after 5 pm for the safety of our guests. Parking is along many of the streets around the park and throughout Peabody. Limited handy cap parking is available in the park. Vehicles must enter through the west gate off Nighthawk Road.
Can we photograph the show?
Yes, and if you get good pictures or video, we would love to see it. Please e-mail us at peabodyfireworks@gmail.com! Please note, that using a flash doesn’t help when photographing fireworks, so turn the flash off. Drone use above and around the park is prohibited for the safety of our audience.
Can we bring fireworks into the park?
No. For the safety of both the audience and our volunteer crew that are dealing with highly explosive fireworks, the general public is not allowed to bring fireworks into the City Park.
Will there be a carnival this year?
Unfortunately, the answer is still no. However, if you know of a carnival that is not busy on the 4th of July, please let us know. We would love to talk with them!!!
I saw someone sneak in, what should I do?
We don’t encourage conflict, but let them know it would be nice for them to contribute to the future of our celebration. The Peabody 4th Fest is a non-profit. Each year we spend close to $20,000 to bring this event to life. Our sponsors and guests help us raise the money needed to put on next year’s event.
Is smoking allowed?
We ask that everyone refrain from smoking in any area where a crowd is gathered. Our City Park is large and you can generally find an area away from everyone else to smoke. Please help us keep our park clean and beautiful by making sure your cigarettes are extinguished and disposed of properly.
Why are certain areas of the park / roads closed?
In order to have a fireworks show, we have to have a place to put the fireworks. Because of the dangers with display fireworks, we must maintain certain distances from the general public. We ask that you help make our job easier by staying out of the safety zones.
